Floorcloths played an important role in home decor before the advent of linoleum. I have designed, produced, and marketed them for several outlets in New Mexico and Texas since 2007. I am including a few here that are not currently available, but can be reproduced upon request. I use a heavy grade 12oz canvas for most pieces. I prepare them with gesso and several undercoats and after the design is painted, they are finished with three coats of polyacrylic. They are made for the floor and are highly durable, but may also be displayed on a wall.
